After a long renovation,Bradley & Lily Fine Stationery has opened its Honolulu Design Studio designed by Avery Solmssen of Green. Not only is she a floral design extraordinaire, she is also a talented member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
Always making an effort to be "green", Avery used re-purposed items or items sourced locally to transform a boring gray box to a beautiful, creative and calm space for meetings with clients and for quiet design time. The gorgeous desk chair was purchased on craigslist, refurbished and reupholstered in a fresh China Seas fabric which was left over from a previous interior design project. The stately mahogany desk was purchased from locally owned SoHa Living, while the photos of our antique printing press and vintage paper cutter adorn the walls in frames from the local hotel liquidator. The walls are painted in Sherwin Williams Whole Wheat. She finished off the look with a fabulous cymbidium and hydrangea floral arrangement.
I must say that Avery's design sense is uncanny. She knew what I wanted before I did. We LOVE it and so do all of our clients. Thank you Avery!
