A Diamond in the Rough

With peach, yellow, orange & pink walls and a brick red floor, our space was a colorful spectacle before we moved in!

After lots of elbow grease and many many coats of paint, the little shop was shiny and bright!  Ian built the cash wrap and shelving and our electrician replaced the flourescent lighting with track lights.

We furnished the space with our collection of vintage (and not-so-vintage) furniture and accesories including my grandfather's old cigar boxes, an antique typewriter and that fabulous chandelier from my uncle's home.

I must thank Avery from Green Honolulu for her impeccable color and spacial instincts and of course, Ian for his tireless work on and off the press! 

Gourmet Gathering

Our soft opening was a wonderful gathering of friends and event industry professionals.  The beautiful (and delicious!) hand-passed petit fours were provided by one of our favorite vendors, Gourmet Events Hawaii.

We were surrounded by overwhelming well wishes and even received a few gifts! The lovely floral arrangement above was a gift from Michelle Maeda of Flower Girls. Guests received their names in calligraphy on note cards and petit glass cabochon magnets as a thank you.

It was a perfect way to celebrate this exciting time for B&L and South Shore Paperie. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have done it without the talent of Nichole Shin of Nichole Weddings & Events, Avery Solmssen of Green Honolulu, Diana Caro-Salvador of Oahu Wedding and Kevin Lubera of Kevin Lubera Photography.  Thank you!!  :)

 

B&L presents The Stationery Soiree!

 

Bradley & Lily Fine Stationery is excited to announce its very first DIY workshop: The Stationery Soiree on Saturday, April 9^th!  Designed for beginner to intermediate skill levels, this hands-on workshop will leave guests with the confidence and know-how to create an invitation masterpiece for their once in a lifetime event.

The two-hour workshop will feature customized materials (YOUR wedding colors), breakfast pastries & refreshments by JJ Bistro and 20% off any order over $100 placed at the workshop!  Seating is very limited.

Made in Hawaii Festival

The Made in Hawaii Festival is a fun family event held at the Neal Blaisdell Center each August.  Not just a craft fair, it's a great place to eat, shop for gifts and goodies, or even enjoy some entertainment.  The festival features locally made products including everything from Kapuakea Bakery baked goods (try one of their ginger pumpkin bread samples) to prints by renowned artists like Peggy Chun ("The Moana" pictured above).

The festival runs today, tomorrow & Sunday (Fri/Sat 10-9, Sun 10-5) at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Bring cash and consider leaving the stroller at home.
